What is the difference between day make up and bridal makeup?

i think its all the same, they call it bridal makeup just so they can get some money.


Now they do have makeup by Mac. that can be put on the body to cover up tatoos and things, but who cares.


I use bare minerals, mary kay, loreal and revlon. I do makeup very good, and for my wedding im doing everyones makeup. .What is the difference between day make up and bridal makeup?
For bridal makeup you want to exaggerate you features. This is because it takes alot more to be captured on cameras. When doing bridal makeup you can add false lashes, dark liner, bright blush, a good contour andhighlight to slim the face and shape your features. It is also important to use a foundation that does not contain SPF, becuase they contain zinc and titanium dioxide. This causes a washout of the face when the camera flash reflects off the 'invisible metals';
I don't have any pictures of the differences, but I can tell you a couple.





Bridal make-up is put on heavier and darker because the flash of the lightbulbs in the cameras wash your face out... so you need to put on the make-up darker and heavier to offset the camera wash out.
